Gokulam is where Lord Krishna's magical childhood days were spent. It was here that his divine powers came to light. Every child has that spark of divinity within. Balagokulam is a forum for children to discover and manifest that divinity. It will enable Hindu children in the US to appreciate their cultural roots and learn Hindu values. This is done through games, yoga, stories, bhajans, shlokas, arts and crafts.

The Guru Vandana celebration was a beautiful and heartwarming event that highlighted the importance of teachers and gurus in shaping our lives. The program began with the traditional Deep Prajwalan, symbolizing the light of knowledge and wisdom. The children then performed a meaningful skit showcasing the invaluable role of a guru in guiding students with love, discipline, and inspiration.

As a token of gratitude and respect, the students felicitated the teachers with thoughtful gifts and performed Aarti to honor them. The evening concluded on a joyful note with fun dance performances, laughter, and delicious Indian food enjoyed by everyone together, making the celebration truly memorable.

The event was honored with the presence of Bellevue City Council Member Vishal Bhargava, Redmond City Council Member Menaka Soni, and Dr. Srinivas Khedam, Assistant Director of Family Engagement for the Northshore School District.

HSS belluvue participated in the Festival of Cultures at Woodridge Elementary School! It was an honor to represent the India culture and share the significance of Surya Namaskar Yajna and Guru Vandana with students and families.
Events like these help in generating awareness about different cultures and their unique traditions.

A big shoutout to Woodridge Elementary PTSA for organizing the Festival of Cultures and for creating an inclusive environment that provides students and families the opportunity to learn about and appreciate diverse cultures from around the world. It was truly inspiring to connect with new families and celebrate cultural diversity together.

Not to forgot, our amazing team of volunteers who made this event a big success. Ekta main hi shakti hai!!
