ONGOING RUNNING GROUP WITH COACHING
Option 1 : Fundraising
You can train for a full or half marathon under the guidance of a certified Running Coach, while raising funds as low as $300 for Asha and you have the whole year to reach that target.
Option 2 : Subscription model to join the running group with Coaching.
If you choose to just run as a group and train for any big races, you can still join us and pick the 6 month subscription model for a monthly donation of $30 to Asha for Education.
If you want to get started with running or want to have a group to run with, under expert coach’s guidance, please contact us. Even Couch-to-5K programs offered by running stores are more expensive than that. Our goal is to not just train for a particular race but have a consistent running group all through the year, while we raise funds to support all the great work, our project partners do at the grassroots level. Join us and we will work 1:1 with you to reach your fitness goals.

Our training schedule
Weekday runs :
• Tuesdays at Sammamish High school tracks at 6:00 pm
• Thursdays at Grasslawn park at 6:00 pm
Weekend runs :
• Saturdays at 7:30 am (locations will vary and updated location details sent to our running group prior to the run)
Team Asha is a sports-endurance training program organized by volunteers of Asha for Education, Seattle chapter, and aims to promote an active and healthy lifestyle among individuals of all fitness levels. It gives a great platform to meet new people, who like to stay fit while supporting a great cause to improve socio-economic conditions in India through education.
What do you get from this program?
• Trained/Mentored by a RRCA certified running coach and an active runner himself.
• Customized training plans with the ultimate motive of injury free running and working towards individual race goals.
• 2 Supported Weekday runs (Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 pm close to Microsoft campus) and 1 supported long run on Saturday.
• Ability to interact with experienced running mentors during your runs.
• Pre-Run and Post run stretches, and nutrition and strength training guidance.
• Weekly and monthly follow up and checks on progress, addressing of queries/concerns.
• Based on consensus a pre-run or post run yoga can be accommodated by certified yoga instructor.
• Help with creating fundraising profiles and tracking your fundraising status if you choose to raise funds.
