With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Dr. Maj (Retd.) Yousaf Akhtar, a devoted servant of humanity whose life was marked by compassion, resilience, and purpose.
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.
إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
🕚 The funeral prayer will be offered on Friday, March 20 at 11:00 AM at Fauji Mill Ground.
He served as the Chairman Board of Trustees of Capt Muazzam Ali Shaheed Welfare Trust, where he worked tirelessly to provide healthcare and support to the underprivileged. Inspired by the memory of his Shaheed son, he turned personal loss into a mission of خدمت — establishing and nurturing a charitable hospital in Jhelum that continues to serve those in need.
His journey began with limited resources but strong determination, eventually growing into a trusted institution dedicated to care, dignity, and hope. His earlier efforts in supporting special children’s education further reflect his lifelong commitment to uplifting the vulnerable.
May Allah grant him the highest ranks in Jannah, forgive his shortcomings, and fill his grave with نور and peace. Ameen.
