Cub Scout Pack 427 - Redmond, WA

Pack 427 had a January to remember. We visited the Padilla Bay Estuarine Reserve for bird watching and wildlife learning. We had our pack meeting at 425 Motorsports to see cool cars and learn about them. We went to winter camp at Camp Sheppard. Our AOL boys, the Red Panda Patrol, won best entree at Troop 909's Iron Chef Championship. Then we finished the month off with our annual pinewood derby.

In October, Pack 427 enjoyed The Reptile Man and lots of fun animals joining our pack meeting. We also had some great adventures at Halloween Camp at Camp Edward.

November was lots of fun for Pack 427! We...
- participated in a Veteran's Day celebration
- learned skills for our biking elective at Bothell Ski and Bike
- participated in a food drive for Woodinville Storehouse Food Bank
- joined Cub Scout Pack 552 for a Multicultural Night with performances, food tasting, and crafts

Pack 427 had a great September.

Field Day - We enjoyed the play games and eating ice cream. Rock, Paper, Scissors against the Cubmaster is always a favorite.

Pack Meeting - We enjoyed making marble runs for the gathering and the pack relay run. Always a highlight to get to throw a pie at the Cubmaster for your parent getting trained.

Hike Day - We enjoyed a two mile walk in the great outdoors.

Pack 427 is fortunate to have had such great leadership from Deedee and Jon, and it is wonderful to see them both honored with the Silver Beaver award. Congratulate them next time you see them!

Chief Seattle Council is honored to announce the 2025 Class of Silver Beavers. These outstanding individuals truly embody the values of Scouting, and their exemplary service to the youth in the council.
The Silver Beaver Award is a council-level award and is given to those who implement the Scouting program and perform community service through hard work, self-sacrifice, dedication, and many years of service.
We’re excited to spotlight each of them in the coming months as we lead up to the Silver Beaver Recognition Awards Night on Thursday, August 27th. Please join us in
congratulating these passionate volunteers and their dedication to Scouting.

On March 8th, scouts got to visit Pasado's Safe Haven and had a chance to meet pigs, ducks, goats, cows, llamas, and more.

Today's pack meeting will be held at 6.30PM in Woodinville Storehouse @ Woodinville Community Church. Over the last few years, Pack 427 has been teaming up with Girl Scouts Troop 41970 and the Sunrise Elementary PTA to support the nation-wide Scouting for Food event. Our donations go to the Woodinville Storehouse, and this month's pack meeting will be a great opportunity to learn about the amazing work this food local food bank does for the community.

Just like last year, Pack 427 has rented the entire Montlake Terrace pool for a pack swim event on April 11th. Parents, siblings, friends are all welcome to attend.
