2026 Junior Track Nationals Recap (Part 2)

Before we jump into the results we just wanted to take a closer look at our group of young riders. We had 16 Juniors - 9 Men, 5 Women, 2 Non-Binary. For 1 of our juniors this was their first nationals!

We couldn’t be prouder of these juniors - from winning EIGHT National titles, smashing personal records, lapping the field, attacking the field, contributing and competing in every race, to refusing to get last place, we had it ALL! It is not all about winning medals or results. We know these juniors will remember the stories, laughs and memories more than anything. We are all looking forward to their race reports.

2026 Junior Track Nationals Recap (Part 1)

1. Thank you to everyone at the JBMV. We would not dare try to name everyone because the list is too long. Every time we ask for help, we are met with overwhelming support, from bikes, wheels, bike boxes, aero bars, etc. we often have more offers than we can accept. To the board that carves out track time for us to use without interruption. The support and kind words mean the world to the juniors. Traveling with 16 juniors is a challenge and you all made it possible with your support.
2. Thank you to our outstanding coaches! Tyson, Max and Amara are tired and happy.
3. And lastly (for this post) THANK YOU to the parents and family members. We would not be anywhere without you driving to and from the track for weekly practices and racing. We realize that most of these juniors are at the track 5+ days a week! Also, packing up and using what is most likely vacation time to come to a bike race is a serious commitment. We can once again say we were the loudest (and brightest) fans at the track, and that was seriously special!

2026 Lap-a-thon RECAP
A huge THANK YOU to everyone that participated in the 2026 Lap-a-Thon. 44 Juniors completed 3,726 laps in one hour earning over 26k in pledged donations! If you too are inspired, impressed or just in awe of these juniors you can still donate here - https://app.99pledges.com/fund/2026jbjrs.

A few specific shoutouts: We had 11 athletes ride over 100 laps - Congrats Charlotte, Cody, Gavin, Javi, Keegan, Merrick, Oliver, Rocco, Rue, Wrenna and Harrison. We also had 6 riders receive more than $1,000 in pledges - CONGRATS ALL!

Our annual Lap-A-Thon fundraiser is coming up in just 3 weeks! The goal is simple - ride as many laps as possible in one hour and raise money for the JB Juniors! Donate to the team in general or specific athletes.
