Chorister Confessions, Part 6

Teresa Morris had this to say:
"Joining the Community Chorus in 2005 gave me the opportunity to sing in the Feast of Lights with Jeffrey H Rickard, just before he retired. When I auditioned for the choir, I was a marginal singer, but Jeff was patient. Rather than suggest I find another choir, he sent me to Tara Smith Eisenhauer for singing lessons. She worked with me for a long time and eventually turned me into a legitimate second soprano, rather than the imposter I always suspected I might be. That’s what Community Chorus has given to me: the support and friendship of so many people and the confidence to sing." Might we suggest that you are too hard on yourself Teresa? We are so glad you are with us!

Chorister Confessions, Part 5

Kate Deen is an Alto I who first began singing with CCR in 2022. She shared that her favorite things about being part of the group are: "Seriously: I love singing across age groups and singing different types of music. Less seriously, it is apparently possible to buy a chicken that says "shimmy shack". This may have a negative impact on future dinners."
