Educational and cultural differences & similarities, homesickness, school assemblies, food, riding in yellow school buses, high school/USC/professional football games, skiing, the beach, school theater productions, community service, new friends, and self learning. She is an amazing young woman who is having and will continue to have a positive impact in this world.

Dan Martens shared his professional and personal journey to his present position as lead counsel for the LA Dodgers. He also passed around his huge outlandish World Series Championship Ring (within a ring).

Q & A time touched on his wide ranging duties, player contracts, legal actions, marketing, and game day stadium logistics (700-800 employees/subcontractor personnel at every game including vendors, hospitality staff, security, communications, grounds crew, & maintenance). Dodgers have highest attendance in Major League Baseball).

Happy Earth Day! 🌎💚

Today, we’re especially grateful to celebrate right here at the beautiful Burrage Mansion —where our Redlands Sunrise Rotary Club gathers and where meaningful impact is happening with our incredible Citrus Valley High School’s Interact Club .interactclub members and volunteers. From hands-on projects to community collaboration, it’s inspiring to see so many coming together to care for the place we call home.

We truly look good being good stewards—and even better when we’re doing it side by side. 🌱✨ Here’s to protecting our environment, serving with purpose, and continuing to make a difference in our community every day.

Meeting speakers Sunrise marathoner Jarrett Stark, Director of Ticketing & Gameday Operations and Joe McIntire, Account Executive for our local minor league baseball team, the Inland Empire 66ers. They shared personal stories, news, and upcoming season updates, including the team’s focus on community involvement and outreach.
Hopes are high as the team is now affiliated with the Seattle Mariners organization. Our Rotary Club was gifted a Redlands Pickers jersey in anticipation of the team’s uniforms for the June game honoring Redlands. See it at our March 28 BOOTS & BLING event in Live Oak Canyon.
