I am in hopes that you are able to assist us this Saturday. You probably saw my email about the volunteer opportunity to assist our Girl Scouts with hands-on activities that teach life skills. With the many fires in So. Cal our first-responders who planned to volunteer are now unable to participate. What we are in need of most is individuals who can oversee the budgeting process with the girls. The activity is already developed, we just need people to oversee the activities. Plea se consider helping if you have any time.

Date: December 9, 2017
Times: 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. AND / OR
4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Location: San Bernardino

If you haven’t yet decided to join the GSSGC alumni association, today you will want to. Kassidy, a Girl Scout who is 14 and volunteers on the Alumni Diversity Task Force said this to me today: "It is an honor to volunteer with women who have achieved their level of success. It is incredible to see how passionate they are about the work of the task force."

Wow! Just Wow! What a race to finish! Last week we were so close to achieving our annual fundraising goal. I am ecstatic to tell you we made it! Thank you to all of you who answered the call to help us cross the finish line. Your donation, EVERY donation, helped us achieve the goal. So many of you contributed to the cause. You brought your friends, family and colleagues along with you and they contributed. Everyone came together to make a difference in the lives of our Girl Scouts.

You have my immense gratitude and appreciation. Once again, Girl Scouts rallied together to achieve a common goal. A million thanks for your dedication to the Girl Scouts in our Council.

Yours in Girl Scouting,
Knea
