The Unforgettables Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1999 to assist families with the cost of providing a dignified burial for their child (22 weeks’ gestation to 18 years old) who has passed away. The mission of The Unforgettables Foundation is to:

• Enable low-income families to give their children a dignified burial.

• Empower communities to memorialize children who have died.

• Educate parents and children’s caregivers to confront, control, and conquer the primary risks to our children’s health and wholeness.

• Encourage communities to recognize the financial trauma which is often associated with the death of a child.

Tonight, we remember the littlest lives that left an everlasting love. 💜🕯️

October 15 is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day, a day to honor babies lost through miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss, and the families who carry their memory every day.

At 7:00 PM in your local time zone, we invite you to join the International Wave of Light by lighting a candle in remembrance.

For every baby deeply loved, every parent carrying an unimaginable loss, and every family keeping their memory alive, we remember with you.

Their lives matter. Their stories matter. Their love lives on.

Always loved. Always remembered. Never forgotten. 🤍

✨ THIS is the WHY behind Making Memories formerly known as Mansion Memories! ✨

Sometimes, the greatest gift we can give a family facing unimaginable heartbreak is a moment to smile, laugh, and create new memories together.

Recently, The Unforgettables Foundation had the privilege of nominating a family we served for a special Magical Day with Making Memories.

After navigating a recent divorce, a mother took her daughter and son to Laguna Beach for what was meant to be a beautiful family day. Tragically, her daughter was swept away by the ocean and drowned. In an instant, this family’s world changed forever. 💔

While nothing can take away their loss, organizations like Making Memories remind us that even in the midst of grief, there can still be moments of joy, hope, and togetherness.

THIS is the power of partnerships. 💜

At The Unforgettables Foundation, our mission doesn’t have to end with burial assistance. Through meaningful community partnerships, we can continue connecting families with compassion, resources, and opportunities to find moments of healing.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Making Memories, their incredible volunteers, and everyone who makes these magical experiences possible. We are so grateful for the opportunity to nominate families we’ve served and to witness the impact of nonprofits working together.

October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month, a time to honor the babies who were deeply loved, no matter how briefly they were here, and the families who carry their memory every day.

For parents who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss, their child’s story matters. Their name matters. Their life matters. And their grief deserves to be acknowledged.

This month, we remember the little lives gone too soon and hold space for every family missing a piece of their heart.
