PSCSC Public Safety Chaplaincy of Shasta County - "Serving those who Serve"

This post is long overdue, but here are some of the things the PSCSC Chaplains have been doing in the last couple of years.

Last year, 2024 the PSCSC began participating in various events by setting up a booth to greet the public and share about the organization. The Strawberry Festival, Cool April Nights Big Car Show, the craft fair in Shasta Lake, and the Volunteer Fire Department BBQ in Hat Creek are just a few of the events we made an apprearance.
Earlier this year, our chaplains per privileged to be invited to participate in two of the county’s Every 15 Minutes events at Fall River High School and Foothill High School. E15M is a very impactful experience for high school students facing peer pressure as well as for the participating staff and volunteers.
Aside from the larger events, the chaplains participate in ongoing agency visits to the Sheriff’s office, Cal Fire and the DA’s office.

We are at Dill’s Deli for “Lunch With A Lw Dog”! Come see us and say Hi to Shast County K9s Toni, and Garin, Kilo, Wyatt, and Jed, as well as their handlers! Have some delicious bbq while you’re at it! Now through 2:00pm.

We’ll be in Hat Creek this afternoon for the Hat Creek Volunteer Fire Department BBQ! Located at the Hat Creek Hereford Ranch RV Resort and Campground. Join us for some good food and great company!
There’s even a swimming hole and Hat Creek just a short walk away to cool off!
