~ Big Boy on its East coast journey had another Railfan not following the rules and pi***ng Engineer and the head of the UP Steam program Ed Dickens off. Ed quickly brought the Big Boy and his Train to a stop, yelling at the offender to come to him. Then he jumped the idiots ass for being one and setting a bad example. The UP Steam Program would go out the window real fast if someone was hit and not following one simple rule, "STAY 25' FEET BACK". UP cant and wont take those risks so we all have to be smart and do better if we want to see the program continue. The Steam Program costs UP millions and it will not take much for UP to stop it so we cant screw this up. I thought it was great what Ed did. It made a statement and a point that i will remember and hopefully the next person wanting to stand in the gauge will think twice and not do it.. B.Williams.
