Our guild hosted Patt Thompson from Colusa, who taught the paper-pieced Wensleydale quilt block. It was a fun class and we all benefitted from Patt's experience with her tips for success. Remember, one of the benefits as a guild member is being able to attend guild hosted classes at a reduced rate! Thanks to Linda Molter for the photos.

The IQM is one of several organizations partnering with Craft in America for Handwork: Celebrating American Craft 2026 — a nationwide initiative to showcase the importance of the handmade both throughout our history and in contemporary life. Our 2026 quilt show is a wrap! We again want to thank and acknowledge our sponsors and vendors. We also want to thank Redding East Rotary members, staff and community service workers from Shasta Co. Probation Dept., as well as our dedicated members (and spouses and other family members) who helped plan, implement, set up, work, and take down the quilt show, as well as ensure our colorful car quilt was out to greet attendees. Our raffle baskets and opportunity quilts were amazing!! Thanks to the 7 musicians who provided wonderful music during the show. A special shout out to Scarlett Rose who presented 2 bed turning programs and staffed the California Heritage Quilt Project booth. A special thanks to our quilt show chairwoman, Fay Leighton for her leadership and her interesting historic exhibits. Here are a few more photos from the show...
