Redding West Rotary is pleased to announce that they awarded nine grants totaling $24,000 to deserving organizations in the Redding area at their weekly club meeting on October 14, 2025.
Recipients include:
• $1,500 to Redding East Little League for portable pitching mounds
• $1,500 to Redding West Little League to assist players with associated costs
• $2,000 to Redding Youth Soccer League to purchase AEDs
• $2,000 to Redding Trail Alliance to assist with Caldwell Jr Bike Park
• $2,500 to Girls Inc to assist with 2026 summer camp
• $2,500 to Dignity Health Connected Living to support the food bank
• $4,000 to Bella Vista Farms to help purchase hay, feed and supplies
• $4,000 to Junction Education Foundation to purchase a book vending machine
• $4,000 to Shasta Family YMCA to support the Y Club
“We are proud to award these grants to local nonprofits whose work makes a real difference in people’s lives, and we are grateful to everyone who supports our annual Taste of Redding event that fuels these funds and helps Rotary continue our tradition of service above self.” states Tyler Jardine, current Redding West Rotary President.
Funding for these grants, as well as over $40,000 in annual scholarships, $10,000 for international projects and tens of thousands for other local improvement projects are supported by proceeds from the annual Taste of Redding. Redding West Rotary is proud to partner with Dignity Health to host the annual Taste of Redding which is held at the Redding Sculpture Park at City Hall. Over 1,500 attendees and experience local food, wine and craft beers to be held on June 14, 2026 from noon to 4pm. This event sells out every year so get your tickets early!
