Launchpad4kids, Inc.

Launchpad provides a way for one person to directly impact a child in need, by providing funds to an activity of the child’s choice.

Launchpad connects sponsors with children. Launchpad sponsors provide children the opportunity to be exposed to any activity of their interest. Therefore, if a child is referred to our program from an organization (School, nonprofit, agency), we do our best to coordinate entry into the activity of their choice. The children in our program are from at-risk environments, low income, or foster homes

. Our goal is to provide sponsorship in the areas of C.A.P.S.: Cultural Experiences, Arts, Personal Mentoring, and Sports. We believe that all of these areas encourage enrichment opportunities for children and provide self-esteem boosting interactions.

People often celebrate the mission, but the truth is this: without great board members, organizations don’t survive.

Behind every nonprofit doing meaningful work are people willing to ask hard questions, offer wise counsel, and stay steady through both challenges and growth.

Tim has been a founding board member since the very beginning, and over the years he has brought a unique perspective, a steady hand, and the kind of calm, reassuring presence every founder hopes for in a board member.

I am beyond thankful for his continued support, wisdom, and belief in the mission.

And as he always reminds me, no matter what happens…

ONWARD.

Founder Friday 🎙️

This one is completely raw and unedited!

No script.
No fancy transitions.
Just a quick moment between all the moving pieces as we wrap up our fiscal year and head into Summer!

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been busy launching our kids into their summer programs through LaunchPad 4 Kids.

That means receiving our last nominations, coordinating with vendors, helping families navigate registration, ordering equipment, delivering supplies, and making sure everything was in place before those first lessons begin.

The part people often see is the child starting the activity.

The part they don’t always see is everything that happens behind the scenes to get them there.

As we wrap up this launching season, I’m incredibly grateful.

Grateful for the parents who trust us.

Grateful for the vendors who welcome our kids.

Grateful for the donors who make opportunities like this possible.

Grateful for the nominators who take the time to nominate these incredible families!

And grateful that six more kids will spend this summer building confidence, learning new skills, and discovering what they’re capable of.

Sometimes changing a child’s trajectory starts with something as simple as getting them into the pool because
opportunity and access changes everything!

Thank you! This year has truly been one of growth and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Christyana completed Swimming, Gymnastics and Karate through LaunchPad 4 Kids and just entered her Astronaut Year!

She has chosen to participate in Gymnastics for the next year!🎉

Mom said it was a toss up between Karate and Gymnastics and noticed a significant improvement in her confidence overall.

That’s a major win in our book!

Huge thanks to her sponsors and to her activity vendors for making karate, gymnastics and swimming so fun!
