Launchpad4kids, Inc. Launchpad provides a way for one person to directly impact a child in need, by providing funds to an activity of the child’s choice.

Launchpad connects sponsors with children. Launchpad sponsors provide children the opportunity to be exposed to any activity of their interest. Therefore, if a child is referred to our program from an organization (School, nonprofit, agency), we do our best to coordinate entry into the activity of their choice. The children in our program are from at-risk environments, low income, or foster homes

. Our goal is to provide sponsorship in the areas of C.A.P.S.: Cultural Experiences, Arts, Personal Mentoring, and Sports. We believe that all of these areas encourage enrichment opportunities for children and provide self-esteem boosting interactions.

Christyana completed Swimming, Gymnastics and Karate through LaunchPad 4 Kids and just entered her Astronaut Year!

She has chosen to participate in Gymnastics for the next year!🎉

Mom said it was a toss up between Karate and Gymnastics and noticed a significant improvement in her confidence overall.

That’s a major win in our book!

🏆 JUDGE’S CHOICE AWARD WINNER: ABRAHAM WITH FOMO🏆

The Judge’s Choice Award was decided through blind tastings with each mixologist’s drink evaluated purely on flavor, balance, creativity, and ex*****on.

And when the glasses were cleared and the discussions were done, Abraham stood out.

Originally from México, Abraham began his hospitality career at a young age in his father’s restaurant and bar. He went on to spend over 20 years in San Francisco, working every facet of the industry, from kitchen and dining room to some of the most respected bars in the country.

He served as Bar Director at Prospect Restaurant for 12 years and worked within the Michelin-starred Michael Mina Restaurant Group, including PABU Izakaya, with experience at Perbacco, Bourbon & Branch, The Lark, and the Futures Bar Group.

In 2023, he earned national recognition in Boston for his award-winning cocktail Besos Picosos. Now based in Redding, Abraham is a partner alongside owner Ben Day in opening FOMO, a project rooted in balance, seasonal ingredients, house-made components, and a disciplined, ingredient-driven approach to elevating cocktail culture.

The People’s Choice Award is decided by the people tasting, voting, and choosing the drink that wins them over. And this year, Nikki had the crowd. 🍸💛

With over 10 years of mixology experience, Nikki’s journey started the most authentic way: making nightcaps for roommates and home-brewing beer during college, just for fun. As a biochemist, mixology is a natural extension of her love for experimenting and discovering new combinations.

Originally from Redding, with influences from San Luis Obispo and Trondheim, Norway, Nikki’s cocktails bring a truly world-wide experience to the glass.

New this year, the Hype Award celebrated the mixologist who brought the most energy before the event even began by building excitement, rallying supporters, and getting people to show up and vote beforehand.

And Star? She understood the assignment.

She took this on like her life depended on it, hyping her cocktails, hyping the event, and blowing up Vintage Public House every chance she got.

Hailing from Virginia, Star is a fun, eccentric mixologist who brings that exact energy straight to her cocktails and the hype showed up loud for her this year. 🍸

Trained in classic cocktails with a true passion for creating fun, funky, “WOW” worthy drinks, Star has a way of surprising your palate in the best possible way. Every sip feels a little unexpected… and that’s exactly why people love her.

Our judges had a TOUGH job this year and they took it very seriously. From flavor profiles and creativity to ex*****on and originality, every drink sparked conversation, debate, and some very passionate opinions.

The creativity, prep, late nights, taste-testing, and heart that went into each drink this year was truly next-level. Every cocktail told a story, and every mixologist brought something unique to the table, which is exactly what made this year’s competition so tough.
