Bowlathon 2026 is in the books! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our families. This year we raised nearly $34,000 thanks to the hard work of our bowlers and their dedication to raise funds. A special thank you to Radius of Influence who has participated all twenty-two years. This year they raised an incredible $10,340.70. Their team members Michelle Stewart raised $5,902.70 and Kathryn Kirk raised $3,848 respectively. Wow! Thank you everyone for such a great day. Our Wings families appreciate you.

Don’t forget our 23rd annual pasta feed at Sons of Italy on October 18th! Help make a difference for two of our wonderful families.

With the car show activities behind us it’s time to head straight into our pasta feed on Saturday, October 18th hosted by Sons of Italy. This is our 23rd year of having our fundraiser by the best pasta makers in the country! Please join us as we celebrate and honor two of our Wings kids. Trey is from Anderson and was recently diagnosed with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma. Avalyn is a 12 year old Redding girl who was diagnosed in December 2023 with Astrocytoma on her brain stem. Avalyn has undergone extensive treatments including numerous brain surgeries. Please join us October 18, 2025 from 4:00-7:30 PM and let’s help these families.

September has been amazing for Wings of Angels and our families. First we were able to wrap an Anderson Police, Redding Police, and Shasta County Sheriff’s vehicle in gold for childhood cancer awareness. We’ve had four dine and donates and last week we started the week with a pizza party at Charlew’s. On Friday night we had our dinner fundraiser at Win River and car show Saturday.

Saturday was amazing! We had more than 20 childhood cancer kids arrive in classic cars, hot rods, and limos to a gold carpet and lots of paparazzi to judge the entrants. There was pure joy from all the kids and their families. Thank you to everyone who entered a vehicle, who es**rt a child, and to our paparazzi. Thank you for making our kids feel so special. A special thank you to Gayle Adelman for your tireless work. You did an incredible job!
