Is your child in 2nd–8th grade? Give them the gift of music with this free, no-audition program!

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: ‘What are you doing for others?’” – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Join the Dr. MLK Jr. Center on Monday, January 19, 2026, as they celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for a Day of Service Celebration! The celebration will take place from 10am-2pm at Sequoia Middle School Performing Art Center at 1805 Sequoia Street, with a march from the courthouse.

The annual King Holiday Observance is a time that we celebrate, commemorate and honor the life, legacy and impact of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The theme for this year's event is "Mission Possible: Building Community, Uniting a Nation the Nonviolent Way."
