✨Board Member Spotlight✨
Today, we’d like to spotlight our board member, Cheryl Forbes! Cheryl is an attorney with a practice in Red Bluff, focusing on Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration, and has been part of the CFNS Board for 8 years now. Cheryl went to law school at USD in San Diego and grew up on a ranch in Southern California, as well as in Long Island, New York. When asked what she loves about the North State, Cheryl enthusiastically says that she feels “so blessed to live in such a stunningly beautiful community that is so welcoming and generous!” She goes on to mention that she treasures the friendships she’s made here and the clients she’s had the opportunity to work with, as well as all the surrounding nature and local activities. “But most of all, I think the people here are amazing,” she says. Cheryl notes that giving back to her community has been a “family tradition for generations” and is what “truly enriches your life.” She loves that when giving back, “you get to meet wonderful people who are thoughtful and positive in a world where things can get heavy, and together you can help find solutions to make lives better.” Cheryl thinks that the most important thing people should know about CFNS is that we “would like to hear your ideas about how we can make the North State an even better place to live. We also want to help you thrive and we offer many grants and scholarships.” Lastly, Cheryl’s favorite ice cream is a Tin Roof Sundae.
