OUR IMPACT MEETS REAL NEEDS 💜

Cancer does not stop the everyday needs of life.

There are still groceries to buy. Meals to prepare. Appointments to get to. Utility bills to pay. Families still have responsibilities even while trying to navigate treatment.

At LIVED2TELL Cancer Support Outreach, our support is personal and practical.

We work to understand what an individual or family is facing and how we may be able to help. Based on available funding and resources, support may include meals and groceries, transportation assistance, utility assistance, care packages, advocacy and connections to additional resources.

Sometimes meeting one need can help make an already difficult day a little easier.

This is what it means to BUILD, STRENGTHEN and UPLIFT.

At LIVED2TELL, cancer support is personal.

We walk one on one with individuals and families navigating cancer, especially during active treatment, taking time to listen, understand what they are facing and determine how we may be able to help.

We check in.
We encourage.
We help identify needs.
We connect people with resources.
And we stay present.

Our support does not automatically end when treatment ends.

💜 CANCER SUPPORT IS MORE THAN TREATMENT

For many individuals facing cancer, the challenges do not end when they leave the doctor’s office.

Transportation to chemotherapy, radiation, oncology appointments, testing, and follow up care can become another source of stress for patients and their families.

LIVED2TELL Cancer Support Outreach, Inc. exists to help address some of the practical needs that can arise during the cancer journey.

Transportation support is one example of what compassionate, community based cancer support can look like.

Our mission is to BUILD, STRENGTHEN, and UPLIFT individuals and families facing cancer through encouragement, practical assistance, advocacy, resources, and compassionate support.

💜 COMMUNITY SUPPORT NEEDED

One of our cancer survivor sisters, Meme Clark, is recovering from recent brain surgery and could use some extra love and support during her recovery.

💜 65 YEARS OF GOD’S GRACE, PURPOSE, STRENGTH, AND LOVE. 💜

As September 10th approaches, I find myself reflecting on what it means to be preparing to celebrate 65 years of life.

For me, birthdays are about so much more than getting older. After everything this journey has carried me through, every year is a blessing, every day is a gift, and every opportunity to serve has purpose.

That is why, for my 65th birthday, I’m asking my family and friends to celebrate with me by supporting LIVED2TELL Cancer Support Outreach, Inc.

LIVED2TELL was born from my own cancer journey and from a promise in my heart that if God allowed me to LIVE, I would use my life to help someone else along the way.

Last year, you helped me raise $283 for LIVED2TELL through my birthday fundraiser. 💜 This year, I would love to see what we can do together again.
