THIS LABOR DAY, LET’S SHOW UP FOR A DIFFERENT KIND OF LABOR. 🤍

While many of us enjoy a day off, some pregnant women in our community are preparing to give birth without knowing where they—or their babies—will call home.

Today, a pregnant woman reached out to us for help. Her baby is due in just seven weeks.

Seven weeks to prepare for labor and motherhood—while facing housing uncertainty.

This is why Matrescence Ascending matters.

Assets Ascending of Georgia is preparing Matrescence Ascending: Resilience & Restoration, a maternity supportive housing residence in Paulding County where pregnant women experiencing housing insecurity can find safety, stability, and support as they transition into motherhood.

The need isn’t coming. It’s already here.

Still on Cloud 9 after such a motivating and encouraging visit this week with Betsy’s Law pioneer Liz Edmonds and Paulding County Commissioner Galloway! ♥️

It has been a loooong journey getting this far. But Rome wasn’t built in a day, and I truly believe everything comes together in the right timing.

I’m patient… kind of. 😂

But the moms calling me for help can’t afford to wait.

Every step we take toward opening Matrescence Ascending brings us closer to creating a safe, supportive home for pregnant and postpartum mothers experiencing housing instability in Paulding County.
