Today, we honor Juneteenth--a day of freedom, reflection, and celebration of the resilience land contributions of Black Americans. At Hispanic Outreach, we recognize that our communities are strengthened when we stand together in pursuit of equity and belonging for all. Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is an ongoing journey and that building inclusive, welcoming communities requires learning from our shared histories and supporting one another.
May we take time to reflect on the importance of Juneteenth today.

Hoy conmemoramos el Juneteenth, un día dedicado a la libertad, la reflexión y la celebración de la resiliencia y las contribuciones de los afroamericanos. En Hispanic Outreach, reconocemos que nuestras comunidades se fortalecen cuando nos unimos en la búsqueda de la equidad y el sentido de pertenencia para todos. El Juneteenth nos recuerda que la libertad es un camino continuo y que construir comunidades inclusivas y acogedoras requiere aprender de nuestras historias compartidas y apoyarnos mutuamente.
Ojalá hoy nos tomemos un momento para reflexionar sobre la importancia del Juneteenth.
