Hey everyone. I have a fruftstrating update .My skate across America is officially on pause down in Virginia.

Unfortunately, I sustained an injury that means I have to step off the board for a bit. As much as I want to just power through it, I have to be smart, listen to the doctors, and let my body heal properly. The doctor has told me to take a few months for the tendons and nerves to repair on its own without surgery first.

I want to be incredibly clear about one thing: **this trip is not over.** I am going to finish this route for Skate Across America and Building Bridges For Brianna as soon as I get the green light from my doctor to skate again.

To everyone who has supported me so far, shared my posts, offered a couch to crash on, or cheered me on from the sidelines—thank you. You've made these miles unforgettable, and your support is what is going to get me through this recovery.

For now, my only job is resting up and to keep spreading the message. I'll keep this page updated on my healing progress and will let you know the absolute second I am cleared to hit the road again.

💜 UPDATE ON MATTHEW SNOW

We wanted to provide everyone with an update on Matthew Snow and his Skate Across America journey.

Unfortunately, Matthew has suffered an injury after experiencing two falls. At this time, he is going to take some time to be evaluated and determine the extent of the injury and what the next steps will be.

Our priority right now is Matthew’s health and safety. We ask everyone to keep Matthew in your thoughts and give him the time he needs to focus on healing.
We will provide an update when we know more.

Matthew has come an incredible distance on this journey, and we are proud of his determination and everything he has done to bring awareness to mental health. 💜
Rest up, Matthew. We’re behind you every step of the way.

BIG SHOUT OUT!!!!! Thank you to Venue skateboard shop in Richmond Virginia for the hook up of new bearings and socks for the journey. Just a amazing shop with just about everything you can think of and cool art work and decor throughout the shop. Ive never tried the Bronson g2 bearnings so honestly little exciting to see how they preform on the roads.

Finally made it to Richmond, Virginia. Today has been super HOT. The skate today was great . Roads smooth, music was just right and so many heart felt conversations. Past few days have been hot tho that will not stop this mission. I made it to Ruther Glen, Virginia yesterday and what a day it was. All this support is so amazing.
