Join the University of Minnesota Extension's American Indian Resource and Resiliency Team & 4DD for a viewing of the Wisdom of Trauma documentary at the Red Lake Nation College cafeteria tomorrow, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Wisdom of Trauma focuses on the work of Dr. Gabor Mate, who discusses how trauma, when unprocessed, can lead to detrimental and lasting impacts not only for the individual, but for the greater community they reside in.

Rez Star is an event for those with a talent for dance, music, comedy, magic, etc., to showcase their skills for a chance to win $5,000! Join the University of Minnesota Extension's American Indian Resource and Resiliency Team for a viewing of the Wisdom of Trauma documentary, which looks at how trauma that impacts the individual has cascading effects on the greater community, followed by a series of activities to help support healing.

Administrative Leave will be authorized for Tribal employees attending a session during regular work hours. The screening schedule is:

Join us to learn how trauma impacts individuals and communities, and to take part in a series of activities that help support healing.
