Please help us welcome our 2026 4-H Summer Intern, Aidyn Bonifas!

Aidyn is from Bladen, Nebraska, and is entering her sophomore year at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where she is studying Agricultural Economics and pursuing a minor through the Engler Entrepreneurship Program. She is passionate about engaging youth in agriculture and is excited for the opportunity to help plan and support the Webster County Fair this summer.

We are thrilled to have Aidyn on our team and look forward to the enthusiasm, dedication, and fresh perspective she will bring. We know she will be a wonderful asset to our 4-H program and community!

What an INCREDIBLE week at PASE (Premier Animal Science Event) in Lincoln! Our team represented Webster County with hard work, determination, and outstanding sportsmanship, and we could not be more proud of every single competitor.

We kicked things off Wednesday with Livestock Quizbowl, where our intermediate team of Jaxon Taylor, Lane Kohmetscher, and Zane Anderson battled their way to a 4th place finish!

Thursday night gave our judging teams a chance to relax and have some fun at Prehistoric Putt — enjoying mini golf, laughs, and even “judging” a few dinosaurs along the way. 🏆 Lane Kohmetscher received a 5th place ribbon in Poultry Judging.

Friday wrapped up an amazing week of competition, with junior, intermediate, and senior teams all bringing home ribbons and placings!

• 8th Place Individual Sheep/Goat – Landry Rupe
• 6th Place Individual Sheep/Goat – Jaelie Taylor
• 3rd Place Junior Sheep/Goat Team – Landry, Cora, & Jaelie

The countless practices this winter and spring truly paid off. Watching these kids grow in confidence, knowledge, teamwork, and determination throughout the season has been incredibly rewarding. Their improvement from day one to PASE was amazing to see, and the future is bright for this group!

Congratulations to all of our competitors on a fantastic week and a successful season! Thank you, Mollie Taylor, for being a volunteer for the week!

2026 Coaches: Katie Bolte, Alexa Pedersen, and Blane Endsley.
