Community Donation Update: Miigwech for Helping Us Support Inclusive Youth Experiences
This update shares the progress of our community fundraising efforts and shows how each contribution helps create inclusive cultural experiences for local youth, families, and participants.
Community update! We want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, encouraged, and supported our efforts. Since last Wednesday we have now received a total of $1,790 in community driven donations.
Our most recent support came through the Facebook contribution request, and we are so grateful for everyone who responded. We also received $440 in public contributions from visitors to our lands in Bayfield, WI, during a live dance demonstration provided by our dance troupe and the Blackwater Singers - @ Grunkees. We want to give a huge CHI MIIGWECH TO “Judith” and crew for allowing us to use your space.
In addition to the public support, we also received private, in-person donations from two generous contributors. You know who you are…we appreciate you.
