Judge Dan Emge, HCA Prevention Chair and HCA Staff were at the Nashville Board Meeting this evening. Judge Emge gave a presentation on Kratom, 7-OH, and Tianeptine and the dangers associated with their use.

We’re set up at Okawville High School with our Hidden In Plain Sight Mock Teen Bedroom exhibit and sharing resources with parents and adults during Parent Teacher Conferences.
The purpose of the Mock Teen Bedroom is to create awareness and empower parents to identify signs of youth substance use in your home.

We were happy to see prevention stickers on the floors in their hallways.

Staring Monday, October 19th 🗓

Monroe Randolph Transit District (MRTD) is excited to announce that SENIORS RIDE FREE! 🚌

Thanks to funding through the Rural Transformative Community Grant, in coordination with AgeSmart, adults age 60 and older can now enjoy FREE transportation through MRTD!

Whether you're heading to a doctor's appointment, running errands, shopping, or simply getting out and about, we're here to help you get where you need to go!

✅ Who qualifies? Adults age 60 and older!

📅 How long? Free rides are available for a limited time, while grant funding lasts. Availability is limited and subject to funding.

📞 Ready to ride? Call 618-443-9087 to schedule your transportation!

Please note: Medicaid-covered trips will continue to be billed through Medicaid.

National DEA Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, October 24th.
The Healthy Communities Alliance will be at Doehring's Pharmacy in Washington County from 9-1 and Sparta Dairy Queen/Sparta Police Department in Randolph County from 10-2.
