Today we hosted our annual Coffee & Conversations event at De Vinos Winery. 22 Senior ladies from Red Bud High School and Christ Our Savior Lutheran High School were able to attend. Our goal as always, is to provide an empowering, positive message and access to the vast resources available in our community. The four speakers we had brought just that. Susan Harbaugh, Jeniffer Tepe, Kelle Oeste and Cassie Heller all spoke of their experiences in each of their given fields. The girls in attendance were given an opportunity to speak with and ask questions of the panel. Breakfast was provided by Cintia and Matt Mollet of De Vinos. Erica Mollet of Forever Young Photography took headshots for each of the girls as well.

We the board of the Women's Club would like to thank our speakers for giving their time this morning. You all did an amazing job!! Thank you also to Matt and Cintia for the delicious breakfast and for having us again this year. And finally, a big thank you to Erica for taking and providing the headshots for the girls!

Yoga in the Park is cancelled for Thursday due to the heat. We hope to reschedule next month.

Good morning! Just wanted to give a heads up. Pending approval at Monday's City Council meeting, we will be hosting a night of Yoga in the Park. It is planned for Thursday, August 26th at 6:30 at Ratz Park. We'll have an event created shortly. Please feel free to share! We'd love to have a big group for this fun event!!

Good evening everyone. We thought it was time to give an update. The officers of the club have been meeting behind the scenes trying to plan out how things will happen going forward. Obviously, we need to be mindful of current guidelines and respectful of everyone's thoughts and concerns. We're mulling over ideas for meeting locations and events. Hopefully, we'll have something planned soon.

Last year at this time we had to cancel the Coffee and Conversations event we had planned for the Senior class girls. With things beginning to settle down a bit, we have decided to move forward with the event this year. It will be held next month. Social distancing and Covid guidelines will be followed. Because of this, we won't be able to have volunteers for this particular gathering. Don't worry though! You will get a chance to help at future events!

Lastly, we would love to hear from you! As I said, we have been meeting. Ideas are being tossed around. But we would love to hear your thoughts on meetings and things you would like to see happen. We didn't really get a chance to see what all we can do with this group. So we need to know what your thoughts are. What things are you interested in? Feel free to contact any member or even reply to this post. Let's get some conversations happening!!
