VFW made donation to Veterans Community Project
VFW Post 6632 recently delivered $900 worth of supplies to the Veterans Community Project in St. Louis, MO which included cleaning supplies, paper towels, floor cleaner, toilet paper and more, all bought locally at ACE Hardware, IGA and Dollar General.

The VCP is located off of Grand Avenue and includes homes of 240 square foot to help veterans get back on their feet. An on-site Outreach Center provides walk-in access to hygiene kits, food pantry items, emergency aid and housing or benefits navigation.

VFW Post 6632 members Gary Birke, Ralph Nagel and Rich Langrehr are pictured prior to delivering a truck load of supplies to the Veterans Community Project in St. Louis Missouri last week.

VFW Post 6632 Red Bud Illinois muster for the funeral procession of Second Lieutenant Edgar Nevois of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, United States Army Air Forces. He served with the 613th Bombardment Squadron, 401st Bombardment Group H, Eighth Air Force, and was killed in action on October 7, 1944, during a bombardment mission in Politz, Germany.
