On April 24th, a group of 25 adventurous students from the Tehama Adult Learning Center (TALC) saddled up for a rodeo-themed pickleball showdown, wrangled by the Red Bluff Elks Pickleball squad. These pickleball cowpokes had been sharpening their skills since December, mastering the art of pickleball with weekly drills.
But the fun didn't stop there! The students also took on corn hole, spike ball, bowling, and even a towering game of giant Jenga. And to top it all off, a sizzling barbecue feast was served, and laughter echoed all around the courts! Yeehaw!🤠

The 2026 Red Bluff Elk’s Lodge Rib Cook Off was one for the history books! With 11 teams firing up the grills for glory in both People’s Choice and Judges Choice, it was a smoky showdown. A massive round of applause to “The Hog-Father” for claiming both titles for the second year in a row! Attendees had their taste buds dancing with joy. A big tip of the hat to Ron Yancy for steering this rib-tastic event.

Thanks to Mike Robinson, we tossed in our 1st Annual Horseshoe tournament, where 8 teams tossed their way to glory! It was a smashing success, and we’re already itching to bring it back next year.
