VENGAN. COMPARTAN UNA COMIDA. HAGAN PREGUNTAS.

📣 YOU’RE INVITED: TEHAMA COUNTY SCHOOL BOARDS AND SCHOOL BONDS COMMUNITY FORUM

SHOW UP. EAT. ASK QUESTIONS. YOUR VOICE MATTERS.

Join your neighbors on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at the Red Bluff Community Center to share a meal, meet your neighbors, and hear directly from the people asking to lead our schools.

This is more than an election event. It’s a community gathering. Working families, people living paycheck to paycheck, and people who feel unheard deserve a seat at the table.

Public service means working for you. You deserve answers, and you shouldn’t have to pay or belong to an organization to be part of the conversation.

🕓 4:45 p.m. — Doors open
🤝 5:00 p.m. — Community meet-and-greet
🍽️ 5:15 p.m. — Free food
🎤 6:00–8:00 p.m. — Community forum

FREE ADMISSION. FREE FOOD. EVERYONE WELCOME.
No purchase, donation, membership, or advance registration required.

All Tehama County school board candidates have been invited and will receive equal speaking time. Representatives supporting and opposing school bond measures will have an equal opportunity to be heard.

Neutral third-party volunteers will select questions and moderate.

📩 Submit questions beforehand in English or Spanish to [email protected], or fill out a question card that evening.

Se aceptan preguntas en español.

One Seed At A Time is covering the venue as a public service, as authorized by its president, Dave Hedstrom. Two of its officers, David A. Burke and Priscilla Burke, are RBUESD board candidates. They will participate as candidates only and have no role in moderating.

This is a nonpartisan event with no endorsements and no fundraising.

Bring your family. Bring a neighbor. Bring your questions. Share this invitation so more of our community can attend.

🌱 Our schools belong to all of us. A stronger community starts with people showing up—and knowing their voice counts.

“The Figlets” adventures. What’s so amazing about this journey into sharing growing food with others, is that it can be done as a family.
We value the opinion of the next generation, our daughters, so much. In most cases, they’re helping decide what we should plant or grow.
They’re discussing with their peers, their administrators, even going as far as the local politics of school boards, city council, and Board of Supervisors, letting them know that they are dissatisfied with the quality and nutrition of food that they are being given.

If it was up to them, they would be planting all fruit trees, so we are truly blessed that when we reached out to for donation in our community they said yes.
Thank you for helping the next generation dream with hopes and aspirations all coming from a ripe plot, plum, peach apricot or apple.
