Brother Tom Alexander was diagnosed with heart blockage, earlies in April, and this week underwent surgery at Mercy Hospital in Redding. After opening him up, his cardiologist decided, based on the location of the blockage, couldn't take a chance in removing the blockage and closed him back up. Tom is awaiting a date/time to go to UC Davis for further surgery. His daughter is flying to Red Bluff and will drive him to Sacramento for further surgery when scheduled. Please keep Tom and Judy in your hearts and prayers.

On Friday, March 27th, Mr. and Mrs. Reddish brought their 7-year-old son Samuel by our home so we could present him with two TCSC Shrine shirts - a small size for this year and perhaps one more year, and a second one a bit larger for him to grow into. We (Roxie and Dean) purchased the shirts and had his name and the TCSC Shrine logo placed on both shirts. Dean also made up two buttons for him with his name, logo and Shrine Patient Ambassador printed on them. Samuel has been a Shrine Hospital patient for the last 5-years. His grandmother is having a family birthday party the day of the Round-Up Parade, but Samuel and his parents will try to come by during lunch on parade day to meet the Potentate and others.

The Widow’s Sons who are members of Vesper and other No. Ca lodges are a credit to Masonry. I’m not a rider or a Widow’s Son, but I know “great” Masons when I see them. Thanks brothers.
