Scruffy Puppy Rescue was started to meet a demand of our customer base to provide all types of dogs, not just what can be provided through Bark Avenue Puppies, our retail store. The rules in the Pet Protection Act require us to only sell this “perfect” animal to the public. We would often pass on a puppy that had a condition that would not allow us to sell to the public. Now with our rescue we can bring in ALL types, all conditions and be able to find a home for puppies that are far from perfect. We also are providing a service for our more than 3,000 puppies sold through Bark Avenue in the event a puppy needs to be re-homed.
