Today, we honor and celebrate the incredible men who lead, protect, provide, mentor, and love others with strength, wisdom, integrity, and compassion. Happy Father’s Day! 💙👔

Whether you are a biological father, adoptive father, grandfather, stepfather, foster father, uncle, mentor, teacher, spiritual father, or simply a man who chooses daily to invest in and uplift those around you — your impact matters deeply.

So many of the men in our lives help shape the hearts, minds, and futures of our children and communities. Through your prayers, sacrifices, guidance, encouragement, hard work, and unwavering love, you reflect the heart of our Heavenly Father in powerful ways. The Kingdom of God is stronger because of men who faithfully serve, lead, teach, protect, and inspire others.

At The Salvation Army Red Bank Corps, we are especially grateful for the fathers and father figures who invest in our youth, families, and community with patience, humility, and Christ-like love. Thank you for the countless ways you make people feel supported, valued, and cared for.

What a powerful and blessed weekend we experienced at Generals Congress 2026! We stand in awe of all that God has done and continues to do through His people.

This weekend, we witnessed God’s faithfulness as Captains Joshua and Michelle Jones were promoted to the rank of Majors. We celebrated our Junior Soldiers, who earned 2nd place in drama during Territorial Star Search, using their God-given talents to glorify Him. We also rejoiced as the Keepers of the Covenant answered God’s call, were ordained as ministers of the Gospel, and took their place among the ranks of The Salvation Army.

Throughout the entire weekend, we were challenged, encouraged, refreshed, and poured into as one Army united in Christ. The worship, fellowship, and messages reminded us that God is still moving, still calling, and still transforming lives.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this life-giving event possible. Your service helped create an atmosphere where people could encounter the Lord and be strengthened for the work ahead.

To our Majors, we love you, we are incredibly proud of you, and we are honored to stand beside you in the mission of winning souls and making disciples for Jesus Christ.

To our Junior Soldiers, let this accomplishment be a reminder that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). No challenge is too great when God goes before you. He walks beside you, surrounds you with His love, and equips you for every good work. Continue to shine your light brightly, use your gifts boldly, and always seek to bring glory to God in all that you do.

🏀🧡💙 Game 5. One Win Away. 💙🧡🏀

Tonight, lifelong fans of the New York Knicks dare to dream once again. After 53 years of waiting, hoping, cheering, and believing, our beloved Knicks have an opportunity to capture their first NBA Championship since 1973.

As exciting as this moment is, let’s remember that sports are meant to bring people together. Whether you’re rooting for the Knicks or the San Antonio Spurs, let’s enjoy this incredible Finals series with respect, kindness, and good sportsmanship.

The world gives us plenty of reasons to be divided, but moments like these remind us that we can celebrate passionately while still treating one another with dignity and grace. So cheer loudly, wear your colors proudly, and have fun tonight—but remember to be the light Christ has called us to be.

Today we celebrate and congratulate Majors Joshua and Michelle Jones on their promotion to the rank of Major in The Salvation Army!

This milestone is not simply a recognition of years served, but a testament to a life of faithful obedience, sacrificial leadership, and unwavering commitment to God’s calling. Through the years, Majors Jones have faithfully shepherded God’s people, preached His Word, extended Christ’s love to their communities, and invested countless hours pouring into the lives of others.

We are especially grateful for the way they lead—not just from the pulpit, but through their daily example of humility, compassion, integrity, and servant-hearted ministry. Their encouragement, wisdom, and dedication have impacted countless lives and helped many grow deeper in their walk with the Lord.

Thank you, Majors Joshua and Michelle Jones, for answering God’s call and remaining faithful through every season. Your ministry continues to bear fruit because of your willingness to be used by Him. We are blessed to serve alongside you and are thankful for the love, guidance, and spiritual leadership you provide each day.

Be intentional with where you invest your time, energy, and heart. Choose each day to invest in what has eternal value—your relationship with God, His Kingdom, and the lives of others. Trust that as you seek Him first and remain faithful in the things that matter most, God will provide for your needs and take care of the rest. We give God all the glory for the powerful message shared yesterday at the Red Bank Corps by Corps Sergeant Major Orlando Santos, Jr. Through the leading of the Holy Spirit and the truth of Scripture from Luke 12:22–34, we were blessed and challenged by the timely message, “Trading Worry for Trust.”

In a world filled with uncertainty, fear, and anxiety, God’s Word reminded us that our Heavenly Father knows our needs and calls us to place our complete trust in Him. The message was both encouraging and convicting, pointing us back to the faithfulness and provision of God.

Thank you, Orlando, for your willingness to be used as a vessel in the Lord’s hands. Your commitment to studying God’s Word and faithfully proclaiming it was evident, and we are grateful for how God ministered to His people through you.

We pray that the Lord will continue to strengthen, equip, and increase you as you walk in obedience to His calling. May He continue to use you mightily for His Kingdom and for His glory alone.

Mood after a New York Knicks Game 1 victory! 🏀🧡💙

It’s amazing how something as simple as sports can bring people together, give us something to celebrate, and put a smile on our faces. While we’re excited about the Knicks taking Game 1, let’s not forget that every person we encounter today is fighting battles we may know nothing about.

So take a moment to be kind. Offer a smile. Share an encouraging word. Hold the door for someone. Small acts of kindness can make a bigger difference than we realize and may be exactly what someone needs today.

As followers of Christ, we are called to be a light in the world. Let’s spread a little joy wherever we go and remind others that hope, kindness, and love are still alive.

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” — Ephesians 4:32
