Yesterday Engine 17-2 participated in the Make-A-Wish convoy. Such a good time had by all. We look forward in doing it again

On Sunday May 4 at 14:16 hours Station 17-2 was dispatched in the 900 block of White Oak Road investigation for storm damage. Chief 17-2 went inroute and LCWC advised that a caller reported their 25x25 barn had blown of it's foundation. Chief 17-2 arrived and found several homes damaged and requested Truck 17 (Reamstown) for assistance. East Cocalico EMA was also responding to assist. Duty officer 17-1(Capt Smith) arrived with his drone and went in service to get an ariel view of the damage. There were at least 8 residents that had suffered damage either to their house or property. It was confirmed by the National Weather Service on Monday 5/5 that a small tornado did go through the area. No injuries were reported.
