In 2005, a fund was established at the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa by the Readlyn Telephone Company. Funds were managed through an annual grants process to distribute what had become known as the Readlyn Community Foundation.

To provide a stronger connection and greater local impact, the Readlyn Community Fund transitioned in 2023 from a CFNEIA affiliate to its own 501(c)3 organization serving the Readlyn area.

Recently, the Board met to award grants for the 2025 cycle. As usual, we did not have enough funds available to fully fund all of the projects received.

YOU can help us make a bigger impact in Readlyn by donating directly to the Readlyn Community Fund. We have an account at Readlyn Savings Bank or you can drop off a donation with any Board Member. (Sharon Davis, Jill Schwickerath, Jaci Hogan, Jill Krall, Kyle Shores, Danny Sickles, David Matthias)

Our Mission is to provide support for projects benefiting the people of Readlyn.
