Fathers Matter Initiative was the brain child of Fred Blankenburg who brought together some dedicate people to help change the negative stereotype of fathers. We have many supportive and good fathers who we want to celebrate and we have fathers who we want to help them understand their importance, their need, and their relevance in the family no matter what the circumstance. Our mission is to crea

te events, workshops, mentoring groups, and peer to peer conversation to help all fathers become and active and attentive part of the family. With these efforts we believe that we will enhance and enrich the family unit.

Today Fathers Mather in cooperation with Core Concepts Housing Program housed a homeless father who was sleeping in his car and going to work after a divorce. We were happy to help him tonight with housing.
