Summer is here and Schlegel park pool is open! We are accepting members for summer swim team! If you are interested in joining, please attend the swim team parent meeting Monday June 1 at 6pm at Schlegel park pool. All participants must be a pool member. Individual and family memberships are available. All information will be discussed Monday. Join us for an exciting summer in the pool! 🏊🏼‍♀️ 💦 ☀️

Memorial Day weekend is fast approaching and that means Schlegel park pool is opening! Memorial Day Weekend hours 12-7 Saturday May 23- Monday May 25 . Our last food challenge for the after school program took place last night. A special hands on cheesesteak cook off with our good friend and teacher Tony , Chef Sprout, of Tony's of West Reading. We had our winners of the past food challenges from both centers come together and get behind the grill with Tony to make their perfect cheesesteak. These food challenges are about more than food! Our kids learn to try new things, be creative, gain food preparation experience and speak to adults about what they have created. I’d like to thank Tony and all our previous judges again for taking the time to work with our kids! Congratulations to Jayliz for being the lucky cheesesteak winner. Stay tuned for more to come!
