Leaving India, having spent all of our time in remote villages and scheduled tribes, the only appropriate response is gratitude.

We just happened to be born in one of the wealthiest regions on the planet. And they just happened to be born in more humble circumstances.

Needless to say, we’re bringing the love to Andhra Pradesh.

And they’re dishing it right back.

Water’s doing powerful things in India. And it’s just so amazing to witness this kind of life-altering change on the ground.

Our second day in India was an A-Z kind of day.

First, we visiting a Dalit tribe (members of the lowest caste who have been marginalized of decades). After seeing the deplorable conditions of their well—buckets, ropes, pulleys, and all—we called in the drilling rig.

And after 185 feet (blasting through marble and granite!), repeated breaks for chai tea, and a world class farmers fan, we hit water.

And not just for this generation. No, this water solution is here for the long haul.
