We’re excited to announce Kind Human’s second major investment into India this year. 🇮🇳💧

Five villages in Sathyavedu Mandal of Tirupati District have been hand-selected to receive new mechanized borewells, storage tanks, and maintenance training.

The reality on the ground is difficult. The land these villages sit on is owned by landlords who often have their own private wells, but access is restricted. That leaves many impoverished families — including tribal groups and dalit communities — searching for water from open ponds, lakes, and streams instead. Those sources aren’t just contaminated, they’re seasonal too, often drying up after the rainy season.

Most of these families are living in incredibly difficult conditions, which makes projects like this matter so much.

Thank you to everyone stepping up and supporting Kind Human’s 2026 project pipeline. Your generosity is helping bring lasting change to communities that have been overlooked for far too long.

A little photo dump from the Mekong River.

In this part of Southern Laos, kids travel to school by boat — and many are now drinking safe water for the first time. Grateful for the chance to serve these communities alongside .

Meet Sarah.

She’s 12 years old. Three times a day, she walked nearly 2 kilometers through rural Uganda carrying unsafe water home for her family.

So we handed her a 360° camera.

This short interactive video lets you step into her world and experience the walk for yourself. Move your screen, look around, and see what daily life looked like before clean water reached her village.

In Laos, we’re focused on schools.
Because the pattern is hard to ignore:
when clean water isn’t available, kids miss class.

Sometimes it’s because they’re walking hours to collect water.
Sometimes it’s sickness.
Sometimes medical costs force families to make impossible choices.
And for many adolescent girls, it’s because schools simply don’t have safe, private facilities.

None of that should stand between a child and an education.

Education changes the trajectory of a community. And if water is the obstacle, then that’s where we go to work.

Plain and simple.

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” — Gandhi

If you practice Christianity, this idea probably sounds familiar. (Matt. 16:25, Matt. 20:26, Phil. 2:3–4, Mark 10:45, etc.)

One thing we’ve noticed at Kind Human is that serving others often reveals things about ourselves that introspection alone never could.

Not in a dramatic or self-righteous way. Just something honest and human about it.

Serving has a way of stripping away noise and reconnecting us with what actually matters.

Do you agree?

We don’t think twice about our kitchen tap.
They don’t have that option.

Help us bring borewells and filtration to rural communities taking real risks every day.

14 years ago, Humankind won Walmart’s “American Idol” style competition called Get on the Shelf.

4300 products entered. And our little water bottle won.

14 years later and we’re still praising God for that answered prayer. That was the moment we knew we had something special.

Since then, Humankind Beverage has directly changed the lives of tens of thousands of people through the gift of clean, reliable, drinking water.

We said it then. We’ll say it now. We’re just getting started.

Find Humankind Beverage in cafés and retailers all throughout the country and help fuel this mission that began all those years ago.
