Troop 319 Exeter Township, PA This page is dedicated to Troop 319 and the parents who support it. We want this page to be a place for others to find out about our troop.

Troop 319 plans regular campouts - generally one each month. We travel outside of Berks County as well as the state for many of our adventures. We also occasionally stay in the area so that our scouts who can't travel far are still able to participate in our outdoor adventures. Each summer Troop 319 participates in a week-long summer camp program at Hawk Mountain. Summer camp provides a great oppo

rtunity for scouts to enjoy the Boy Scout Camp experience, as well as help them earn a wide range of merit badges, and offer assistance with rank advancement requirements. The Scouts are always planning new adventures. One of the newest is the Amazing Race, which was developed by one of our own. The Scouts are divided into groups of 4 and spend the weekend competing in outdoor events at several locations around the county. Another favorite activity of Troop 319 is the All Night New Year's Eve Laser Quest event. Each New Years Eve the scouts gather at 7pm for a video game and pizza marathon. Then, at 11 pm, the chaperones transport the scouts to Laser Quest for a night of laser tag competitions. Troop 319 reserves the entire facility for our Troop. The evening ends at 7am when parents arrive for pick-up.

Troop 319 welcomes any boy (and guardian) in grades 5 to 11 to attend an interest meeting on Monday 1/13, at Schwarzwald UCC from 7-8:30 to learn about scouting and our troop. Today, 23 scouts from Troop 319 attended the Exeter School District Board of Education meeting to meet their requirement for Citizenship in the Community. Together, over the next several weeks, the boys will learn about community government, community service and how they cann play a role in their community at a young age in order to earn this important Eagle Required merit badge.
