Last Saturday the A-Team got to work in Woodlawn at Harmony Park! With great weather on our side, the team spent the morning cutting and treating invasive honeysuckle along the trail.

Thank you to the lovely volunteers who came out and got their hands dirty, and to the Village of Woodlawn, OH 45215 for being a part of restoration in our watershed!

Join MCA to help reduce litter in the Mill Creek Watershed at our reimagined 2026 Trash-A-Thon. Sign up solo or make a team and pledge to collect litter from the location of your choice before it has a chance to reach the creek! This summer flew by, and as the school year begins, our Mahketewah Anglers season comes to an end! We're so happy our Anglers learned how to pick fishing spots, built their skills on the water, and explored freshwater ecosystems - all before the summer was over.

A big thank you to Sam, our fishing expert and intern this summer, for sharing her knowledge, skills, and love of the outdoors with the Anglers all summer. We're so grateful for all your help making this summer one to remember!

On Wednesday, August 5, we hosted a sold-out Stand-Up History fundraiser at Urban Artifact! Our friends from Stand-Up History had the crowd laughing, learning, and looking at the Mill Creek in a whole new way with five unique presentations rooted in Mill Creek history. From fascinating local stories to unexpected historical tidbits, the evening was a fun reminder that the Mill Creek has plenty of stories to tell.

We’re grateful to everyone who packed the room, raised a glass, and helped support Mill Creek Alliance’s work to restore and revitalize the watershed. A huge thank-you to Stand-Up History and Urban Artifact for helping make the night such a success!
