Last weekend, more than 250 residents, community partners, and volunteers joined us for our sixth annual Canoes & Conversations. Together, community members spent the day exploring Mill Creek by land and water.

Participants experienced the creek from new perspectives, discovering its natural beauty and potential. The day started conversations, strengthened community connections, and fostered an appreciation for this remarkable community resource!

Big thanks to the Carthage Civic League for leading a community cleanup initiative along the Mill Creek Greenway Trail on Este Ave today!
(20) Volunteers from the Carthage community and Kroger worked to remove trash, dumped items, and debris to make the trail more welcoming and accessible to all. With support from the Cincinnati Health Department Healthy Communities Program, Mill Creek Alliance, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, and Cincinnati Parks, Carthage community leaders Jason Melling, Jessica Wolf, Barbara Bell, Craig Whistler, and Ann Ivancic are leading the way to invest in their natural spaces!

Biking brought community members together at Canoes and Conversations last weekend. Participants took a five-mile ride exploring the Mill Creek corridor and surrounding neighborhoods, stopping to learn about local history, infrastructure, and revitalization efforts.

Hiking and walking brought community members together at Canoes and Conversations last weekend. Participants explored the Mill Creek Greenway Trail and the proposed trail connection, stopping to discuss how resident-led projects and trail access could benefit local communities.
