We had an absolutely amazing day celebrating Halloween in the Park at Locust Street Playground last Saturday. Thank you everyone who came out!
Thank you to the Fleetwood Police Department for treating the kids with goodie bags... Thank you Fleetwood Fire Company for coming out and giving the kids a tour of the truck and participating in our little parade!

They say all good things must come to an end, but I don't necessarily agree with that statement. I'm more inclined to think that "They" haven't spent time with the right people.

I believe good things are developed through hard work, dedication, sacrifice, FAITH and a willingness to put others before yourself.

For five years you unconditionally dedicated your personal time to changing the lives of children in Reading, Pennsylvania. You spend your days as a juvenile probation officer, mentoring and advising at risk kids. Off the clock, you spend your nights working on a solution to their problems. Many sleepless nights at that.

Under your leadership The Gilmore | Henne Community Fund has positively influenced hundreds of children. You have made a profound impact in the lives of the families we serve.

It's with mixed emotions that we wish you well on your next journey. Your service to our organization, and the community, deserves more then a gold star. We can't thank you enough for all the sacrifices that you have made to move our program forward. You played a huge role in our growth and development. Any organization that you are associated with should consider themselves lucky to have you!

Outstanding job serving as our first Executive Director. Although our partnership has come to an end, all the good that you have done along the way has not.

I'm sure we'll see you hanging out in a few parks next summer. Don't be a stranger.

Nearly 200 runners helped raise money for the cause during the the Gilmore-Henne Community Fund’s fourth annual run.

In case you missed our ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday!

This summer, dozens of volunteers worked hard to renovate a playground in Reading.
