Reading Society of Craftsmen We are a group of creative people with a wide variety of talented artisians who range from beginners Meetings are from 10 am until 2pm.

Reading Society of Craftsmen is a group of craftspeople that meet once a month to share their love of crafts, learn new craft skills and techniques, and be inspired by each other. Our group is made up of painters, quilters, jewelery makers, doll makers, rug hookers, knitters, crocheters and needle workers just to name a few. Meeting dates are the 1st or 2nd Monday of the month from September throu

gh May. We have speakers and other artisans who come to share their ideas, teach us new crafts, and generally inspire creativity.

Reading Craftsmen is kicking off our next year on September 9 at the Unitarian Church in Reading. Our first meeting will be with Karen Davey and we will be making a rustic sign for the fall.

Other programs for the upcoming year include: Making your own perfume, Felted Soap, Paper Pine Cone Ornament, Card Workshop and garden stepping stones.

New members are always welcome !

Reading Craftsmen just concluded their 2018-2019 year with a great picnic and auction. September 9, 2019 is our 1st meeting for the next year. This meeting is a sign making workshop.

For the upcoming year, we have many workshops scheduled including, felted soaps, perfume making, stepping stones and many other events.

This organization was founded in 1929 and continues to explore and share arts and crafts with all. Please contact us if you would like more information, new members always welcome !
