Exciting offers have been given to NSB’s Conservatory Trainees this summer. They will work with some wonderful dance organizations both in the US and abroad! We will miss their presence in our studio but are so happy to see what the next chapter brings. Keep working hard, be generous, dance big, and know we are all cheering you on from afar. Much love and best wishes from all of us at Northeast School of Ballet.

Join us as we return to LIVE THEATER in NSB's 2021 Fall Series, Tales of The Spirit!

“All That Is”, choreographed by Joseph Jefferies and set to the beautiful music of Tomaso Albinoni, had it's NSB premiere in Raray, France in 2015. We are thrilled to present it again in our 2021 Fall Series, Tales of The Spirit. Both in-person and Live-stream tickets are available at www.nsb.org for the October 23 & 24 performances.

“All That Is deals with themes of gaining empathy and learning how to forgive. The movement phrases contain references to some intensely personal episodes in the choreographer's life but the journey taken by the dancers in the piece is one that is universal to humanity.” -Joseph Jefferies, NSB's Resident Choreographer

"Thank you so much to all of my teachers for challenging me and pushing me to be a better dancer every day. Without your support, I would never have made it to where I am today. And thank you to my fellow students at NSB for welcoming me to your level so late and for allowing me to make mistakes in a safe environment.”

NSB graduate, Elianna Cohen began training at the Northeast School of Ballet at 16 years old in NSB’s Classical Program. "Starting ballet st NSB as a 16-year-old was not the easiest thing in the world, but everyone at NSB was so supportive and understanding. I will never forget my experience at NSB and how everyone was so welcoming."

Elianna graduated from Wakefield Memorial High School. She is looking forward to attending the Georgia Institute of Technology where she will be studying astrophysics and plans to join the dance club. Elianna would like to thank her family for supporting her dance and everything else, no matter what.

“Brava Elianna, It has been a privilege teaching you and being able to see you accomplish your goal of dancing en pointe this year! Georgia Tech is lucky to have you as a part of their student body. There is not a challenge I believe you cannot meet. Keep taking risks, enjoy the journey, and Dream BIG"

NSB graduate, Olivia Rossetti, began training at Northeast School of Ballet at 11 years old in NSB’s Classical Division and in later years, The Conservatory at NSB. Her favorite memories are performing in The Nutcracker. She said "there is no better feeling than getting into your costume and being surrounded by the excitement of your environment before going on stage"

Olivia graduated from TEC Connections Academy where she received an art scholarship. She is looking forward to attending Dean College in the Fall majoring in Dance and focusing on performance and choreography. Olivia would like to thank her family for being super supportive in what she loves to do, for watching her perform, and for driving her to and from dance daily. She appreciates being able to experience joy through performing and being part of the amazing environment that NSB creates.

“Brava Olivia, It has been a privilege teaching you and watching you develop into beautiful and confident young women on stage and off!. I’m thrilled to be close enough to Dean College to continue to see you perform! Enjoy the journey and Dream BIG” It will be exciting to watch your career unfold!

“ I want to thank every one of my teachers at NSB who have pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of. You all have inspired me to follow my passions and to find joy in dance!”

NSB graduate, Rebecca Dinsmore, began training at the Northeast School of Ballet at 14 years old in NSB’s Summer Intensive Program. That fall she was invited to be a student in the Trainee Program. Her favorite memories are performing in The Nutcracker and NSB’S Annual Lecture-Demonstrations with fellow dancers. It has been an amazing experience for her to be able to show her friends and family the hard work and dedication she has devoted towards her ballet training.

Rebecca graduated from Waring School in Beverly, MA. She is looking forward to attending Tufts University in the Fall majoring in Engineering and minoring in Dance. Rebecca would like to thank her family for supporting her and her busy schedule, driving her to her classes daily, and coming to all of her performances!

“Brava Rebecca, It has been a privilege teaching you throughout high school and watching you grow into a beautiful and confident young woman. I’m thrilled to be close enough to Tufts University to continue to see you perform! I have no doubt you will excel in both your majors. Enjoy the journey and Dream BIG"
