Keep your little monsters close… STAY TOGETHER! 🧡

With so many costumes, decorations, and treats to explore, it’s easy for excited trick-or-treaters to get ahead of the group. Make a plan before the Halloween fun begins!

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Young children should trick-or-treat with a trusted adult.
👟 Older kids heading out with permission should stick with a group.
📍 Agree on a route, a meeting spot, and a time to be home.
📱 Make sure kids know how to reach you if you become separated.

Little monsters… WALK, don’t run! 🚶‍♀️🍬

The next candy stop can wait! Help your trick-or-treaters travel safely from door to door:

🦇 Use sidewalks whenever possible.
🦇 Cross at corners or crosswalks.
🦇 Look left, right, and left again before crossing.
🦇 Never dart between parked cars.
🦇 Put phones away and keep your eyes on your surroundings!

Drivers: Slow down and watch for excited little ghosts and goblins—especially near intersections and driveways.

Today, on Patriot Day, the Reading Police Beneficial Association joins our nation in remembering the innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of the police officers, firefighters, emergency personnel, service members, and everyday citizens who answered the call—and all who have served in the years since.

May we always remember the unity, compassion, and strength that brought Americans together.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸
