๐“๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ ๐ž๐ซ ๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  โš ๏ธโš ๏ธโš ๏ธ All of Newtโ€™s littermates were k*lled by another wild animal. Mom cat fled the nest, and finders later discovered Newt by his cries. Newt was left covered in his littermatesโ€™ blood which led to one of the worst cases of fly strike I have seen.

Luckily, Newt was rescued in time & is now thriving in foster care with BCC.

Berks Community Cats Is closed to Intake due to the sheer number of kittens in foster care. That being saidโ€ฆ I could not in good conscience leave sick kittens behind at a feral colony. These kittens were found hiding in one of the carriers on a Womelsdorf property BCC has been trapping at for well over a year. Two additional kittens were found hiding under a tarp nearby.

There are 9 in total. Three have eye infections, one has double eye infections. All have fleas & pretty bad ear mite infestations, but much worseโ€ฆ diarrhea, intestinal parasites, upper respiratory infections, two are already dehydrated and slowing down.
