Sanctuary at Homestead

Sanctuary at Homestead We serve those in our community seeking aid by providing food, knowledge, and tabletop gaming. Our community is facing many socioeconomic issues these days.

And while we have been working to bring our community together in harmony using our hobbies, we need your help to make our efforts go even further! Many in our community do not eat as often or as healthy as they need to due to circumstances beyond their control. Lack of access to certain resources in knowledge and physical access to fresh fruits and vegetables is one of the many issues we plan to

address early on by going to communities that are limited in their ability to grow their own food. We will guide these people in starting small with raised planters and picking a few vegetables that are hardy and nutritious and setting them up with the correct soil and tools to plant and grow their own food. You can help us be more involved and improve our impact. Your support is crucial to our efforts to teach as well as learn. If you’re able, we’d love it if you could make a donation to help us achieve our mission by allowing us to start off with the best chance to provide for those in need. I want to thank you in advance for your contribution. Your donation for 2023 will go toward the initial startup for communications like the main website, a logo for brand recognition, shirts for our volunteers to display who we are and what we do, as well as the raised planters needed along with the necessary tools, and storage for the tools and supplies. This will help us pave the way to strengthen our community support and become a beacon of hope for those in need of help. You can Donate online at paypal.me/SanctuaryatHomestead

Thank you for your support

What New Volunteers Should Know

If this is your first time helping with Holiday Hope Boxes, welcome! A few quick notes:

No experience is needed — we’ll show you everything you need to do.
Tasks are clearly organized and supervised by team leads.
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
Some shifts involve lifting boxes (typically 15–25 lbs).
Families often bring children during pickup — a friendly smile goes a long way.
What Returning Volunteers Can Expect

If you’ve helped before, you already know the drill — but we’re continuing to refine the process each year to make packing and distribution smoother and faster. Your experience and leadership are incredibly valuable to new volunteers.

Why This Matters

Each Easter, these boxes help ensure that families in our community can sit down together for a holiday meal. Many of the families we serve are facing real financial stress, and this program helps make the holiday a little brighter.

With your help, we can make sure every family we’ve committed to serve receives a full Easter meal and basket for their kids.
