Saturday morning, Help A Girl Out was honored to be part of the incredible Girls on the Run Berks event as a participant in the Partner Park! 💕🏃‍♀️ Such an empowering event for everyone involved!

We loved spending time with these amazing girls — sharing information about periods, body changes, confidence, and self-care in a positive and empowering way. From emergency period kits to helpful reading materials, our goal was to help every girl feel informed, prepared, and proud of who they are becoming. 🌸✨

And of course… our tiger completely stole the show! 🐯💖 From endless cuddles with the little ones to fun photo ops for girls of all ages, the smiles were nonstop all morning long.

Events like this remind us how important it is to create safe, encouraging spaces where girls can celebrate themselves, ask questions, and grow in confidence together. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table and helped make the morning so special!

Tomorrow, we will be hosting a Period Pop-Up Library and Lounge Area at the Girls on the Run Berks 5K event!

Share Your Voice: Read from our selections and share your thoughts on our Confidence Board. If you leave a reflection, you'll score a free sticker from our amazing kickoff partner, Be Mine Boutique in West Reading!

Emergency Supplies: Need something in a pinch? Stop by the booth to grab any emergency menstrual products you might need.

Chat with the Team: Ask our HAGO USA team about our recent drive results and get a sneak peek at what we have planned for the future.

The Alliance for Period Supplies created Period Poverty Awareness Week to draw attention to the issue of period poverty and the negative impact it has on people who menstruate.

We encourage everyone to join the movement and become advocates to help – start a conversation about period poverty, or do one of many other things, from right at home.

That week, our team is planning to be at the Girls on the Run Berks event on May 16th. Stop by our booth and say hello!

Big news for the Help A Girl Out (HAGO) community! 📢

We are so proud to share that our co-founder, Suzanne Cody is the recipient of the 2026 Bernardine Legacy Award. This honor is a direct reflection of the incredible work this community has done together to address period poverty in our region.

This award belongs to every volunteer and donor who has stood with us. To celebrate, we are inviting local organizations and corporate partners to join us by hosting a table at the awards luncheon.
