This week Turner Construction and several of its trade partners volunteered in the Town of Rayville to rehabilitate the Mason Street playground and the Civic Center gazebo! As a part of Turner’s Founder’s Month, they choose community projects in public spaces where they can make a difference in the lives of the citizens there. We appreciate our partnership with Turner and all of the construction and landscaping companies who played a part in breathing new life both areas of town! We look forward to completing more beautification projects across the parish soon!

Richland Parish Community Cleanup Day was filled with volunteers from Delhi to Mangham and Rayville ! The Richland Revitalization Board donated park benches to each town, welcomed volunteers from across the parish and together collected tons of trash today! We also, cleanup up downtown areas, and planted vegetation.
Thank you to our mayors, aldermen and other elected officials who gave of their time and hosted each cleanup event.

Event Update: Day at the Lake Rescheduled

Due to the forecasted weather, the Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office TRIAD “Day at the Lake” originally scheduled for May 1, 2026 has been rescheduled to Friday, May 29, 2026.

The event will still begin at 10:00 a.m.

With a 90% chance of rain and cooler temperatures expected, we want to ensure this day is enjoyable and safe for our seniors—not a weather hazard.

We look forward to seeing everyone on May 29th for a great day of fellowship, food, and fun at Poverty Point State Park!

Thank you for your understanding.
