📣RICHLAND PARISH 4-H!!📣

JOIN US JUNE 23rd-JUNE 26TH AT 4-H UNIVERSITY

This Year's Theme: "KREWE DE 4-H U!!!

Dates: June 23rd-26th
Cost: $250 (include registration, housing, transportation, and event t-shirt). Participants are responsible for purchasing their own meals throughout the week.
Grades: 8th-12th
Location: LSU AgCenter, Baton Rouge Campus

NOTE: A nonrefundable deposit of $50 is due with the application by April 29, 2026. All outstanding balances must be paid by May 20, 2026.

Richland Parish 4-H is selling LOUISIANA STRAWBERRIES!!

Cost: $25 PER FLAT

All proceeds help students pay for 4-H University, Summer Camp, and other activities

Orders must be made and paid by March 17th

Pickup Day/Time is: Monday, March 23rd from 1:30-4:30

Checks can be to "Richland 4-H Foundation"

Proud is an understatement! Huge shoutout to Our Food Challenge teams! They showed dedication, teamwork, and amazing culinary skills during the 2026 Northeast/Northwest LA Food Challenge Competition held in Ruston. Thank you for representing RICHLAND PARISH 4-H!!

*Division II received the GOLDEN SPATULA AWARD for their teamwork during preparation!!

📣 Calling all high schoolers! Marsh Maneuvers offers four five-day, overnight camps throughout July for high school 4-H members to explore and learn all about coastal Louisiana through hands-on activities such as airboat tours of the marsh, crabbing, marsh grass planting and more! 🦀🐊
📆 Contact your parish 4-H agent if you are interested in this opportunity by March 3, 2026.

💲 Cost: $150 camper registration fee (includes meals, lodging, and a t-shirt)

🎉 We’re thrilled to announce the 2026 Meta Data Center Community Action Grants recipients!

Through our Data Center Community Action Grants program, Meta provides funding for nonprofits and schools to support the long-term vitality of Richland Parish. We fund projects that address critical community needs by putting technology to use for community benefit, enabling people to build strong, sustainable communities and improving local science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) education.
