This page is to help parents stay connected at Spring Valley Elementary. What is a PTA? National PTAA PTA is a local, self-governing unit.

It promotes the Purposes and Mission of the Missouri and the National PTA as it plans its programs and activities to meet the needs of children and youth in the community. It is linked through its all-inclusive membership and by its acceptance of the Purposes and Mission of the National PTA and the Missouri PTA. It shares in the resources of the entire organization, such as national and state conv

entions, workshops, conferences, publicity and special leadership development conferences. All of us have a great responsibility to our children. As a PTA, your group is part of a larger community working on behalf of children advocating for health, welfare, safety, education, and the protection of children at every level of government. PTA is recognized throughout many communities as the organization that continues to make a difference for children's issues. Benefits of Local, State, and National Affiliation

As a PTA, your parent group benefits from materials and information for parent education programs, safety awareness events, and legislative information. Missouri PTA provides each PTA unit with a Summer Packet, including the Tool Kit, a Winter Packet, a Legislative Packet, and convention information. Each unit president receives the monthly CONTACT magazine to be used as a resource for PTA programs, leadership information and duties for officers. Your membership gives Missouri PTA and National PTA more clout when speaking to legislators on behalf of children. As a PTA, you are an independent, self-governing organization where all members have a voice. Schools, school districts, or school boards do not control you. You have the opportunity to work together to decide on programs and projects to benefit children. As a PTA, you have access to leadership training, excellent speakers, and networking with other PTAs just like you at the annual convention and leadership training conference. You have access to a network of knowledgeable people to assist you in your growth and development. Whether you have questions about fund raising, liability insurance, IRS forms, parliamentary procedure, or programs, we are here to help you.

So that means lots of things are happening next week!
Also, grab that T-shirt before we sell out of your size!!

As we wrap up the end of the school year Whitney Scott Heinze and Spring Valley Elementary put on a great field day for the kids yesterday! Thank you everyone who helped!

The SV PTA was able to help support this year by supplying the awesome water slide, the icy-pops and water balloons.

‼️ Thank you everyone who participated in the chocolate bar sale at Spring Vallet Elementary! ‼️

We had an even bigger success this year!
The PTA made over $12K!

With that money we were able to take the kids who sold 3 or more boxes to Bump City and have Pizza! That was around $1000.

We also give prizes to anyone who sells 1 box, 2boxes, etc and those were around $1600.

The Fundraisers help the PTA to provide SO much for the teachers and your kids!

This is a great fundraiser that helps the Spring Valley Valley PTA being able to help with SO many things!
The PTA helps support:
The teachers for classroom items
Field trips
Class parties
Spring fling, ice cream social, Halloween driver through, back to school picnic, and other fun school activities

Chocolate chocolate get your chocolate bars from Spring Valley Students! 🍫

One the first day we had 147 boxes go home with the kids!
This year our goal is to sell 428 boxes! 🎉

Happy 1st day of Spring 🌸🌷🌼

This Thursday the 23rd don’t forget we are having our Spring Fling from 5:30 to 7:30 for all current Spring Valley students.
There will be dinner 🌭🍪
We will have games, a bouncy house and SO much fun!

‼️Parents we are needing bags of candy and snack treats to be donated. ‼️ we greatly appreciate all the donations we have received thus far. ❤️

Spring Valley Elementary is having a Spring Fling on March 23rd for all the current students.

It’s going to be a fun filled evening.

The PTA is asking for donations. Parents of students please see the flyer to see what grade your student is in and what you can help with. Anything is appreciated!

Thank you to all the family and friends that went to Culver’s on Monday and helped us raise money!
We were able to raise $454!! 🙌🏼🎉

These fundraisers help us be able to support the class parties, class field trips, new equipment for teachers, school events (Spring Fling March 23!) and SO much more!

I hope you enjoy some of our awesome helpers that were able to help serve food, and clean up!
