LINE THE ROUTE — A CAPE COD HERO’S SENDOFF WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 30 1230-1:45
SFC Trevor Robert Turner
Wednesday, September 30, 2026
Sergeant First Class Trevor Robert Turner
of Wareham MA, Graduate of Upper Cape Tech passed away surrounded by his family and friends due to Service connected Conditions September 23 2026.
SFC Turner was a still-serving, active Massachusetts Army National Guardsman assigned to the 101st Field Artillery, with many deployments. He was in uniform when his country and his community needed him. Now he and his family need us to give him a hero’s sendoff worthy of that service.
He was a Son, a father of 2 children, Friend of many and loved by all. An avid fisherman is where he found his happiness. He was one of our neighbors, where his family owns a local landscaping, and irrigation company, He served this community and country selflessly in every way. It is our turn to stand for him and his family on his final mission.
I am calling on our community, veterans, friends, and neighbors to line the procession from start to finish.
Cape Cod has a proud tradition. When one of our own falls, the Cape stands the road. Flags on the overpasses. Trucks and people lining on the shoulder flags waving proudly. Fire and police at the rotaries. Neighbors with hats off as the hearse goes by. That is how we tell a hero, and the family they are not alone, and thank you.
We need you on the route Wednesday so his family sees the Cape and the South Shore, and this commonwealth standing for an active Guardsman who never got to take the uniform off. A 101st Field Artillery NCO is carried to the National Cemetery the way Cape Cod has always carried its fallen in honor.
